I'd like to meet Lois Lenski, which will probably be in heaven.
She was the author of my childhood, I loved her books and read every one that was in my local library. There were quite a few. I even managed to find some copies on eBay.
She was a Newbery winner. Many of her characters had major challenges during the book. My favorite was the Indian Captive, based on a true story.
She's my favorite all-time writer.
