Ask An Author Week #5:Shelley Mosley/Deborah Shelley
Question: What is your favorite Season to write in and why?
Shelley Mosley/Deborah Shelley: The sounds and smells and colors of autumn make that my favorite season, but my favorite season for writing is winter, when I can bundle up with a cup of hot tea and sit in front of the computer and dream.
I write as Deborah Shelley with Deborah Mazoyer. Our novels are in Dutch, Danish, French, Russian, Norwegian, Portuguese, and large type. My nonfiction includes: The Suffragists in Literature for Youth; Romance Today: An A-to-Z Guide to Contemporary American Romance Writers; The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Ultimate Reading List; and Crash Course in Library Supervision.Labels: Ask An Author, Deborah Shelley, Shelley Mosley

I love the buying candles with all those great scents around that time of year.

Thanks so much for your nice comment, lastnerve (cute name!)! You can get Marriage 101 at a lot of libraries (or through interlibrary loan if your library doesn't have it). It's also out in large print now.
Kimmyl, I love candles, too. My family likes pumpkin or spice candles in the fall and winter, pomegranate or berry in the spring and summer, and vanilla just about any time. A couple of years ago, I discovered defusers. They make the house smell good, too!
