Ask An Author Week #1: Elaine Charton

Question: If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have three books with which to read for five years, which three books would you take and why?

Elaine Charton: Pride and Prejudice- It is one of my all time favorite books. The Complete Sherlock Holmes-I know it's short stories but it is all in one book and I love it. Jame Eyre-another of my favorites.

    I remember seeing the movie version years ago, we're talking the OLD version with Sir Laurence Olivier and Greer Garson. I loved the story so much I went to the library and took the book out. I followed that with Sense and Sensibility. However, P&P has always been my favorite.

    Oh my favorite, that's hard to chose. If I had to chose one it would be Scandal in Bohemia. I loved the idea of a woman who could affect Holmes. :)

    That's ok. If you don't mind I'll answer anyway. :) One day I would love to try and write a historical. Not sure my particular voice is right for a historical though. You never know.
